Rise of the Mummy is a 2021 British horror film about a group of archaeology students who accidentally awaken an ancient mummy. After being trapped in a time loop, the only way they can escape is to defeat the mummy. As the body count rises, it seems the mummy has to collect the souls of those who woke him to be able to walk the Earth – for good.
